Postgres Women India – March‘26 Newsletter

Welcome to Postgres Women India monthly newsletter, March 2026.

We are excited to highlight several key initiatives and events aimed at empowering women in #Data, #AI, and #Postgres ecosystem.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrated the amazing women who are part of the Postgres Women India community.

We are truly grateful for every woman who has been part of this journey — contributing, supporting, mentoring, and growing together. Each one has helped build a strong and inspiring community.

Here’s to continuing to support and empower each other in tech.

At PGConf India 2026, Postgres Women India (PWI) had the opportunity to connect with many wonderful women from across the community.

The team actively engaged with participants, leading to several meaningful conversations and new relationships. We saw strong interest from attendees in taking up roles as chapter leads and contributing as mentors for upcoming upskilling programs.

These interactions opened the door to many new connections, reinforcing PWI’s mission of building an inclusive, supportive, and technically strong PostgreSQL community for women.

Postgres Women India (PWI) proudly sponsored CRESCENCE 2K26, a national-level technical symposium held on March 23–24.

The event brought together students from across institutions to showcase their skills, learn, and collaborate. It was a great platform for innovation and hands-on learning.

PWI is glad to have supported this initiative and continues to encourage growth and participation of women in tech.
